Flying display and prewar cars perform on the grass runway
We extend a warm welcome to visitors from the other side of the equator and expect 30 or so Australian members with 7 or more Hornets, mindful as we are of the GBP/AUD exchange rate, the equation is strongly in your favour!
Venue
Wine Vine Hotel, Tanunda, Barossa Valley South Australia, about 50 miles north of Adelaide with plenty of room for parking. This is in the heart of the Barossa wine district.
Program
Friday evening 17 October. The AGM will be held at the Wine Vine Hotel in Tanunda
Saturday 18th October. We'll travel to Lobethal for a lap of the 1939 Australian Grand Prix circuit and lunch, spending the remainder of the day at the Bay to Birdwood Rally in Birdwood. Visitors could ride with someone or just go as a spectator then visit the National Motor Museum in Birdwood where the rally ends with about 1500 cars. We have asked to have our Hornets as a display group there.
