Wolseley Hornet Special Club

Encouraging the use and the preservation of these Special cars

The village of Pavenham in North Bedfordshire runs an Open Gardens event each year in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Jack Peppiatts  own garden, one of between 15 and 18 that open on the day is the venue for a classic car display.

My own Hornet is a regular attendee and would be delighted if any others would like to join in the fun.  I would ask anyone who would like to come to please arrive before 1.00 pm the day finishes at 5.30 pm.

The gardens range in size from the proverbial postage stamp to large with stunning views. For live steam buffs, my good friend runs his garden railway to give rides to children.

Refreshments are available at either end of the village and a free courtesy bus is provided to ease aching feet. For more information or to register please contact Don Grant at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
